A historian's second career.

Michael Miner is a historian and author working out of Las Vegas, Nevada. He served in the United States Air Force, then spent the next four decades in two parallel sales careers: seventeen years inside the car business, and twenty-two years running his own advertising agency, One-on-One Promotions. Across all of it, the work that came home with him at night was history.

He retired at sixty and earned a Master of Arts in History from Southern New Hampshire University during the long pause of the pandemic. The thesis was the easy part. The hard part was deciding what to write about first.

He chose Ida Husted Harper, the journalist and biographer who carried the suffrage movement onto the page across two generations of struggle, and built his first novel around her. Two more books followed: a wider canvas of recovered American voices, and a quieter book that distilled what four decades on dealership floors actually taught him.

He founded Michael T Publications, LLC in 2023 to publish his own work. The catalog is small and growing.
